Carla Jago, Acting Deputy Auditor-General, Australian National Audit Office, delivered a speech at the Public Sector Assurance Forum on 1 August 2024 on building a Public Sector with the strong foundations of integrity and trust.

The ANAO was invited to prepare a paper for an international conference on the role of supreme audit Institutions in combatting corruption for the advancement of transparency, public integrity, and good governance. The international conference formed part of the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the State Audit Office of Viet Nam and was held from 8-12 July 2024,

Amelia Pomery, Senior Director – Professional Services Group, Australian National Audit Office, delivered a presentation virtually to the PASAI Leadership Program, on 4 April 2024.  The presentation was titled System of Audit Quality Management.

Christine Chalmers, Executive Director – Performance Audit Services Group, Australian National Audit Office, recently attended INTOSAI’s Performance Audit Subcommittee Annual meeting from 5-6 March 2024 in Tbilisi, Georgia. At the meeting, Christine gave a presentation on Civil society engagement in performance audit – Indigenous/First Nations persons involvement in audits of indigenous land councils. The presentation was titled First Nations peoples’ involvement in audits of Indigenous land councils.

Kristian Gage, Executive Director (ANAO Senior Advisor to the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia) – Corporate Management Group, Australian National Audit Office, delivered a presentation as a part of ASOSAI’s international seminar ‘How to Meet the Public Expectation on SAI’, in Bali, Indonesia, on 12 December 2023.  The presentation was titled Ensuring Reliability and Credibility by Leveraging Transparent Processes and Methods.

Sam Khaw, Director - Performance Audit Services Group Australian National Audit Office, delivered a presentation as a part of an international seminar ‘Training of the Sustainable Development Goals: Energy transitions as part of the Green Economy’ (an initiative of INTOSAI’s Working Group on Environmental Auditing), in Bali, Indonesia on 30 November 2023. The presentation was titled The Australian National Audit Office's Approach to Auditing Climate and Energy (including Agriculture, the Environment, and Water).

The Auditor-General for Australia, Grant Hehir, delivered a keynote address to the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) on Tuesday 12 September 2023. The address was titled Public sector accountability – the ANAO’s role and it was delivered as part of IPAA's Secretary Series.
