The Australian National Audit Office takes seriously its obligation to provide information in an accessible and transparent way.

Meeting the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.0 (WCAG 2.0) at level AA was one of the success criteria in the design of the ANAO website. What this means in practical terms is that the ANAO website uses structured and meaningful Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) to assist users accessing the site via non-visual means, such as users of screen-reading software. We include alternative (alt) text for non-text content (such as images) wherever practicable, to ensure that information conveyed by non-text content is accessible through the use of a text alternative.

Providing our information to all users, including those with a disability, is important to us. If anything on this site is inaccessible to you, or you are experiencing problems accessing content for any reason, please contact us.
