The objective of this audit is to assess whether the award of funding under Department of Defence’s (Defence’s) Industry grants programs was consistent with the Commonwealth Grant Rules and Guidelines (CGRGs).
Audit criteria
The ANAO proposes to examine:
- Were funding rounds well‐designed and supported by appropriate administrative arrangements?
- Were applications assessed in accordance with the grant opportunity guidelines and funding decisions informed by appropriate advice?
- Were monitoring, reporting and evaluation activities implemented effectively and used to inform future design and implementation?
