About us

The Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) is a specialist public sector practice providing a range of audit and assurance services to the Parliament and Commonwealth entities.

About Us

The objective of this audit is to assess whether Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) effectively applies the cost recovery principles of the Australian Government’s cost recovery policy.

Audit criteria

The ANAO proposes to examine:

  • Are DAFF’s cost recovery arrangements efficient and effective?
