About Us

The objective of this audit is to assess whether the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has effective arrangements in place to support the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI).

Audit criteria

The ANAO proposes to examine:

  • Does the ATO have effective governance arrangements supporting the adoption of AI?
  • Has the ATO established effective arrangements to support the implementation of AI models?
