Evaluation of the Community Development Employment Program (CDEP)

The objectives of the evaluation were to:

  • determine the employment outcomes of urban CDEPs
  • identify other benefits through work/participation in urban CDEPs
  • identify ways in which the urban CDEPs could be improved to achieve benefits for all in the CDEP
  • determine the non-labour market outcomes of both urban and non-urban CDEPs.
