  • What legislation governs the ANAO?

    The ANAO is governed by the Auditor-General Act 1997.

  • How will I know when a new report has been tabled by the ANAO?

    You can register your details on this website to be notified via email once a new report has been tabled.

  • Are ANAO tenders advertised on AusTender?

    Yes, all ANAO tenders are advertised on the AusTender and ANAO websites.

  • Who do I contact if I wish to be considered for employment by the ANAO?

    You can register your details with the ANAO Talent Pool, view positions vacant, or contact Careers for more information.

  • Who can I contact to discuss the findings of an ANAO report?

    You can find the report contact at the bottom of each ANAO Audit Brochure. Where there is not a brochure produced, you will find the audit team listed in the report itself.

  • Does the ANAO audit local government?

    No. There is an audit office for every Australian State and Territory. It is their role to audit the State/Territory's local government. The ANAO only audits Commonwealth agencies.

  • How do I obtain copies of ANAO reports?

    You can obtain a copy of the ANAO's tabled reports by contacting the Publications Section on +612 6203 7505 or by sending an email to webmaster@anao.gov.au.
